Group Tuition for Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9
The Key Stage 3 programme in English, Maths and Science is designed to support those children who are in Years 7 to 9, the crucial pre-GCSE stage. Class sizes are small, average of five children in a class and children receive sufficient individualised time and attention from the teacher in order to get the help needed with the topics with which they are struggling. One to one tuition can also be arranged upon request.
Why is Year 9 Maths Important?
GCSE exams will follow a linear format from September 2014. This means that the Maths GCSE will no longer be made up of modular exams, but will be 100% assessed at the end of the course. Registration for Year 9 Maths Group is now open. We are beginning the GCSE Mathematics course with Year 9 from the beginning of the academic year 2014/15 and are therefore rearranging the groups to ensure that all students achieve to their full potential.
Group classes are held on weekdays and weekends for year 7, year 8 and year 9. Prior to allocating a lesson we carry out a free of charge assessment for us to understand how we can help the child. The results of the assessment, we feed to the tutor and to the parents. The initial assessment further help us to monitor the progress and understand how the child is progressing with us.
Please contact the centre on 0203 633 2829 or visit us during the opening hours to discuss how we can help your child and to find out what available slots are most suitable to your child.
