A Level Tuition

A Level Results Summer 2014

Our A Level programmes are tailor made to each individual needs. Many of our students request private one to one tuition. However we can arrange Group Classes for the more demanding subjects. Many students who join us are self confident individuals who are certain of their future goals and we take every effort to help them reach their full potential.

Parents and Students are welcome to enquire about our A Level Tuition. Some of our students are group of friends who get together and join us as a group to improve their subject knowledge, whom we recognise as responsible young adults.

We currently run A Level Tuition for Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business, Economics, English, Computing, ICT, Law, Sociology, Psychology and Art. For all other subjects, please contact the centre for more information.

Private Tuition

We offer private tuition for all subjects in both AS and A2 Levels. Students can contact us to inform their subject requirements, the preferred date and time, required number of hours and when they are planning to sit the exam. Students can initially book one hour with the teacher and later increase the number of hours if they wish to.

UCAS Advice

We provide UCAS advice to students who are struggling to understand the UCAS process. We can provide guidance in writing a personal statement and choosing a suitable university depending on the predicted grades and subject requirements. While many students think of UCAS at A2 Level we advice to plan ahead from AS or even at GCSE to improve student profile. Students can visit the centre for a free initial consultation and decide whether our service is suitable for them. Our UCAS Advisors are Qualified Teachers or Student Advisors at Schools who also work as UCAS tutors. UCAS Advice is free for the students who enrol for the Private Tuition lessons.

University Applications

For those students wishing to apply to medicine, dentistry and optometry who may not qualify for UK Universities or finds that the tuition fees too high, we can help find universities in Europe, US and Asia Pacific.

A Level Revision at Study Buddies Tuition Centre

Our Revision aim is to encourage students to strive for the highest grades at A level,, and to develop retention with their revision. Students who enrol on the A level revision courses are directed in their revision in small groups by experienced teachers.

As a supplementary education centre, Study Buddies Tuition Centre is able to offer revision classes of average 5 students per group. Classes are categorise by core subject and topics, where straightforward ‘easy’ marks should not be missed, our small groups at A level allow sufficient time for students to discuss their specific difficulties. In these classes we are preparing student for their final examination.

Revision lessons make continual reference to past papers, examiners’ reports and model answers, providing detailed information on the requirements of each core subject. Series of past paper completed under timed conditions build confidence and time management. Students who enrol with us get the benefit of years in the education industry experience, with the concentrated focus at A Level covering key areas of the subject requirements of the examination boards.

We offer Group Revision Classes for A Level Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. For all other subjects we offer individual Revision classes however group classes for other subjects may be formed on demand
